The Saur Sujala Yojana is a program in Chhattisgarh that provides solar powered irrigation pumps to farmers. This scheme was started in 2016. Under this scheme, farmers are given solar powered irrigation pumps at a very low cost. This scheme is being implemented by Chhattisgarh state Renewable energy Department, [CREDA] under the Energy Department of the state Government. Agriculture department selects farmers.
